Last week, Logan Maley, Hesam Akbarnejad, Maha Manoubi and myself were attending the ICDERS conference in Taipei, Taiwan. Strong pressure waves are driven by the rapid ignition of hot-spots. The driven hydrodynamic instabilities along shear layers permit to rapidly burn the gases.
